You shattered my world view, all those sleazy and shady people that promise me to get rich quick if i just believe in them and dump my money into their “product”, actually never had my interest in mind but just want to get rich by scamming me? I am shocked… well not that shocked.
But on a serious note, i am surprised people still fall for this, or “life coaches” that get rich of selling “seminars” to help you get better. Yeah… they surely all feel better with your money in their pocket. It is an age where con artists roam free. -

Have you heard of Tupperware? Their product was so well-known that people started using their name for every similar product. I bring this up because Tupperware is an MLM. And it’s not a scam. Of course, it was founded in a time when MLMs were honest.

@PvblivsAelivs As someone who grew in a family who used tupperware fairly regularly, I do agree on some level. I think my aunt was a seller, but she was never super pushy like so many Honbots. It was just an everyday item we used, but we never went out of our way to promote it, or overspend on the items.

Ponzi schemes are mathematically unable to pay everyone. Honest money goes in and is spent by the scammer. MLMs are mathematically possible to pay out from sales. The scam is convincing people selling is easy.

@PvblivsAelivsI’m guessing that they concentrate on selling the product over making money from recruiting. That’s the only way I know of to make it sustainable.

My good friend tried to get me into this a few years ago. I watched part of one webinar and creased up laughing. I honestly thought it was a Monty Python sketch. It’s unbelievable just how many people get sucked into this. Defies any common sense. Trouble is I’m hooked on following this scam as it’s better than any comedy show.

Yeah, me too. I’m obsessed. The first time I saw it, I thought “competitor to Google and Facebook and Zoom and… and…” and all from a zero startup? This guy’s deluded. But more fascinating (for many people, I think) was how the “founders” acted – video after video, all promising not only wealth, but solutions to the homeless and hunger worldwide, and… well, just about everything. AND THEY REALLY BELIEVED IT! An incredible case study on the psychology of MLMs / cults.

Im from Hyderabad, India and my office is next to the onpassive Hyderabad office which was shutdown a year ago. This company is more or a cult than business. Because of extreme corruption in India they got away with this scam but still founders are like clowns hoping some day Ash will save them from poverty. After dogshit godmans in India people join these cults and pray like Ash is their saviour. Now this scammer came up with other business and now people are ready to join it..!

True! There is a guy in our village. He is about 70 years old. He and his wife are invested in “onpassive” for years. He also wanted me to be part of it. Everytime i saw him, he starts over again with onpassive and how great it is. No critique reaches him, they think everything done against onpassive is big players like Zoom, Facebook and co. trying desperately to destroy Onpassive. They think Big money companies are afraid of onpassive. They are into that bubble and nothing readches them. I really try to avoid meeting him now on the streets. Its sad, but its hard for me to take him serious.
Over the years i have seen some scams, but Onpassive is unique. How they manage to just keep going without showing anything they promise is fascinating. The promises they make are so unbelievable bs, really hard to understand they have such a huge following. But somehow Ash, as d*mb as he looks and speaks, managed to brainwash quite a lot of people with his nonsense.
